Jill: Hello all you lovely rebels out there! Welcome back to another edition of RWN's Featured Rebel!!
Quiana: This month we're featuring an author who has had her share of stories and ideas and keeps us all laughing on the forums!
Jazen: And as you may have noticed, we're not in the studios this time. Apparently "someone" is on the no fly list because she seems a bit...what's the British word for it?
Daijah: I think you're looking for nutter or barmy.
Karima: Leave it to DJ to know the word for crazy in every language!
Daijah: HEY!
Jill: Anyway, we've decided to make her skip the pond just a little to...
All: IRELAND!
Quiana: That's right Ladies and Gentlemen we're hosting this month's feature right from the source of Saint Patrick's Day! YAY!
Jazen: We'll try and steer clear...ish of the green beer.
Karima: She means SHE'LL try and steer clear! I'm getting liquored and kissing an Irishman!
Daijah: Well then in that case let's get things underway so without further ado please welcome this month's Rebel:
All: MISS LEAH!
Jill: Welcome Bambi! So kind of you to join us!
Leah: Are you kidding? I am absolutely thrilled to be here! Now where's my mug?
Quiana: You carry your own beer stein?
Leah: Doesn't everyone?
Jazen: **glances towards Leah and shakes her head** It's nice you wore some comfy shoes because we're taking you all over this Island for a real adventure so get read...Leah?
Leah: **Freaking out** Oh no! Oh no! No! No! NO!!! Not again. Why now? Shoo! Shooo! Shoo!
Daijah: Leah are you feeling ok?
Leah: Don't you see him?
Karima: See what? You're standing there waving your hand in the air.
Leah: NO! The green man! You can't see the Leprechaun standing right there? He's giving me a peace sign and smiling!
Jill: Right...ok...
Leah: HE'S RIGHT THERE! LOOK! He's dancing a jig! You're not getting my stein you tiny green man! Shoo!
Karima: **Leans towards Quiana and whispers** I see why she's on the No-Fly list. She really is bonkers!
Jazen: Leah if you're not feeling well perhaps we should do this another time.
Leah: No! I'm fine. I'm not letting one little Leprechaun ruin my day! I just...maybe had a little much to drink.
Quiana: Then you should leave the stein with one of us.
Leah: No no, I got it thank you.
Daijah: Well this should be an interesting day.
Jill: And we'll be right back after this brief commercial break!
Quiana: Welcome back! We're here at the legendary Blarney stone hoping to grab ourselves a bit of that magic and touch of eloquence as well as take in its rich history. And in speaking of eloquence, let's talk about you and where you get your gift of gab. What motivated you to start writing? Where/what do you get your inspiration from?
Leah: What motivated me to start writing was Darren claiming that I was a good writer and I should start it again, though I never see any good in my writing. I trusted him, and did it. I have never looked back. My fiancé’s...interesting mind and books. Books give me food for thought and Darren gives me something else *blush*.
Quiana: How did you start writing stories and how do you get the ideas for them?
Leah: It all started when I was 8, I wrote a story as an assignment and I was chosen to read out to the whole school, despite my stage fright. I did it and burst into tears, my most embarrassing moment. I stopped writing stories after that, but in 2009 I entered a Short Stories Competition for a laugh, seeing my story win first place I thought well maybe I should do it again and now thanks to you guys I don't regret it. They usually just come into my head and it is usually like "Hey, what if a girl gets kidnapped by a handsome vampire and they fall in love?" You know when I'm bored my mind wonders into some place and end up creating a story.
Quiana: That sounds incredible! You never seem to have a shortage of story ideas and I guess we see why!
Leah: The line's moving we should hop in before he comes back.
Quiana: He?
Leah: Um...nevermind.
Quiana: Ok so anyway who is your biggest inspiration and supporter or your work?
Leah: Darren. As I previously stated he is the reason I am writing again. I love him and he is my inspiration and my biggest fan. Yes, I am sappy like that.
Quiana: There's nothing wrong with being sappy I'm a romantic too and that is very sweet. So tell us Leah, are there any rituals you use to get you in the mood for writing?
Leah: I don't really have any rituals. I do what I need to do to get me in the mood, though it is not always as successful.
Quiana: Ok then what gets you in the mood to write? Do you listen to music? If so, what kind?
Leah: Not much, I usually think that if I got the pictures I have to write the entire chapter even if I'm not in the mood and that causes me not to write to my very best which is disappointing. I do listen to music though mostly it is classical because it helps me relax when I am mostly stressed.
Quiana: When reading other people's stories, what draws you in? Do you try to put those factors into your own stories?
Leah: Mystery and Suspense. Hot sim men helps as well *Laughs*. Mystery and suspense always keeps me on the edge and hot men give me something to drool at *Eyes Chase*. Heh, and yeah I hope to give some entertainment for my readers and for the ladies I hope they are entertained with the men I provide.
Quiana: Is there something that turns you away from other stories? Do you try to keep away from those factors when writing your own stories?
Leah: I don't know what turns me away from a story because I never had that happened to me before. So therefore I never know if I should not put them in my own stories.
Quiana: Well it can become blocking if you ever did model something you hate or have never before attempted but there is a certain freedom to being able to improve yourself based off of the other talented people around you.
Leah: We're up!
Quiana: **Leans in to kiss the stone**
Leah: **Leans in to kiss the stone**
Leah: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!
Quiana: What? **Catches Leah in her arms** what’s wrong with you girl?
Leah: It's him! He's standing right there pointing a gun at me!
Quiana: A gun? And we're still standing here?
Leah: It's just his finger but still! Why is he following me?
Quiana: Leah, there is nothing following you!
Leah: Tell that to the Leprechaun two feet away from us!
Quiana: **Backs away from Leah and moves two feet away.**
Leah: NO! Qui be careful he looks vicious.
Quiana: Leah, there is nothing here! See, look!
Leah: QUI! He's dangerous! **Covers eyes** He might steal your soul!
Quiana: Leah get serious! And hand over that stein now!
Leah: Fine but I want it back at the end of this trip!
Quiana: Yeah...you'll get it back alright. I think it's best you get out of the sun but we have a few events planned for the outdoors.
Leah: Well I do feel fine really. I think maybe it's just a St. Patrick's Day patron running around.
Quiana: That no one else can see? Stayed tuned Rebels, there's more to come!
Quiana: Begorrah! Welcome to Castle Blarney in County Cork, Ireland! We'll be encouragin' ye to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, since it has the capacity to endow the kisser with eloquence and skill at flattery.
Of course, the procedure is a wee bit o' risky, as you can see. But doncha think it's worth having all the lads and lassie's fall for yer sweet words, or being able to talk yer way into any job ye want?
And o'course if ye be forgetting to empty yer pockets before you hang over the stone, our helpful staff will be waiting below with giant black pots to thank you for yer generous donation!
Come visit The Blarney Stone. You'll leave a little lighter in the heart! (and the pockets...)
Jazen: We're back with our whacked out Rebel.
Leah: HEY!
Jazen: I mean Featured, Featured Rebel...who just happens to be seeing little men running shooting finger guns at her. Anyway we're here at the O'Brian Performance Park preparing to take in a show.
Leah: I hear these River dancers are some of the best in the world! They've even performed at the Dublin Concert for Queen Elizabeth II!
Jazen: Awesome then this should be a real treat! **Grabs basket and takes front row seating**
Jazen: So let's discuss your writing process Leah. A lot of people create differently; get their ideas differently. How do you get your ideas for a concept for a story?
Leah: It varies, for example I got the idea for Eternally in love from a dream I had and Love me to Death was from originally the story I entered for that competition I mentioned earlier.
Jazen: Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night with thoughts you have to write down?
Leah: If I have an idea about a chapter or a story, I'll usually write down in a journal I carry around. I never woken up in the middle of the night though with an idea though.
Jazen: Well that's good at least you're getting plenty of rest? At least I hope so. When writing, do you make out a storyline to follow or do you just write off the top of your head?
Leah: I make out a storyline and when I take pictures I try and make the Sims to do as accordingly. Though as I never write the chapter I do write down the gist of it and write off the top of my head. I think that is an easier option for me.
Jazen: How do you write a story, do you write it all at once or take breaks while writing?
Leah: I take breaks while writing. I like to rest my old brain and get back to real life before I dive into story-telling and Sims.
Jazen: Do you plan your chapters or do you just go with the flow?
Leah: I don't plan my chapters or I go with the flow. I think of what the chapter is going to be about, or at least get the gist of it and shape it around the idea.
Jazen: Have you ever disliked a chapter after you have finished it?
Leah: I have disliked most of my chapters, but that is because I never think that my work is any good but I have to release it or I would never start.
Jazen: Oh look it's starting! Man they can really move those legs!
Leah: Yes they are very talented! This is really good!
Jazen: I wonder how long it takes them to perfect this dance.
Leah: I don't know but I bet they go through a lot of shoes stomping holes in the soles.
Jazen: When you write, do you ever feel like you are crossing a line? Or do you write whatever you feel you need to write?
Leah: I have had a few chapters, I feel that that certain chapter was too explicit or graphic and deleted it and had to take pictures all over again and turn it down and then I feel it is too watered down.
Jazen: How much time on average do you spend creating one chapter (writing and illustrating)?
Leah: When I am writing I usually take an hour, give or take. With illustrating, I take 5 or 6 hours, I like to get everything perfect, I try to angle everything so my readers don't see something they were not supposed to see but usually after I post the chapter I see the pose player in the picture or a sim that was not supposed to be there and then I have to re-do it all over again. If my sim was pregnant was during that blemish in the pictures, I have to use Nraas Master Controller to terminate the pregnancy and get them pregnant all over again which is always a pain especially if the girl who is pregnant now hates the man.
Jazen: I can imagine that! I can see how difficult it might be getting two people who dislike one another to make a family. I am thankful though for the mod creators for making it a little easier aren't you?
Jazen: Leah?
Leah: AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
Jazen: What? What's wrong?
Leah: He's after me again!
Jazen: **turns towards the crowd** Leah they're just watching the show.
Leah: Well I hope they enjoy it because I'm getting out of here!
Jazen: Wait sit down we're not done with the interview!
Leah: Send them to me in the post! I'll return them ASAP!
Jazen: LEAH! LEAH! Do you even know your way around this country?
Leah: I'll figure it out trust me!
Jazen: Um ok...I guess the River dancers aren't the only one with quick feet! But they could come in handy! Are you tired of those annoying insect problems? Maybe it's time to call in River dance Exterminators!
No harmful chemicals, safe for children and pets, River dance Exterminators safely and quickly stomp out your bug problem, and entertains you at the same time!
Don't delay another minute. River dance Exterminators. Step on it!
Daijah: Hello, hello, hello! We're in Clover Park to do a little leaf hunting. Perhaps it'll bring Leah some luck in restoring her sanity.
Leah: Then you should seek an extra handful of leaves too DJ!"
Daijah: Yes...well...I'm not the one being haunted by Leprechauns!
Leah: You wait! You'll start seeing them soon enough and then we'll see who's laughing.
Daijah: Right...I'm sure it'll still be me!
Daijah: So Eternally in love is very intriguing, what gave you your inspiration for this one?
Leah: A dream I had. It was a woman and man and they had this little girl with them and she was special in some sort of way. The dream is hazy but when I woke up the next morning I thought that dream would be a perfect idea so I wrote down what I could remember and turned that into Eternally in Love. Yes weird, I know. The funny thing about this is David's Wife was never meant to have a certain mystery about her, she was meant to just be a normal girl from Bridgeport but I forgot her name and came up with idea that she was going to be called David's Wife until further on when we get to know her name. But is it her real name?
Daijah: So you're just playing up the mystery until you drive us all mad? Do you ever feel that your story lines get too similar?
Leah: Yes, sometimes. If I read through one story and move on to the next and feel they are getting too similar I plan the next chapter to do something different.
Daijah: My you're really looking for a leaf aren't you? I was only kidding about that. I wouldn’t' want to strain my eyes too much.
Leah: Yeah well I bought this necklace you see from a vendor when I got to Ireland and he said it was made of used and preserved four leaves and should bring me luck. So far all I've gotten was my stein taken away and repeat visits from a Leprechaun.
Daijah: Maybe the necklace is haunted and is the reason the Leprechaun is coming around. Or maybe it is bringing you luck in seeing him in the first place. If you tried catching him you might get yourself a pot of gold! What advice would you give to a beginner writer?
Leah: Keep the reader interested; though sometimes I unintentionally make cliffhangers when I thought that is was just an ending.
Daijah: How do you come up with your stories titles?
Leah: I usually think of what the story contains and sum it up in a title. For example, if it is a vampire love story (like it always is) I call it so it involves something to do with Vampires and something to do with Love. That kinda how I got Love Bites, Love me to Death and Eternally in Love. Crave was different, it featured magic and vampires and Love and if I continued with it maybe Werewolves but I choose Crave because it was the power that my protagonist possessed was craved by other supernatural beings and that's how I got Crave.
Daijah: Have you ever considered trying to publish any of your stories?
Leah: No, I haven't considered trying to publish any of my stories as in book-form. Does Love me To Death count as published, I don't know. Right now I am not considering publishing my stories, but who knows in the future, maybe. You know maybe if I can find a fresher leaf...
Daijah: Out of all of your stories, which one did you think was the best?
Leah: I think that Love me to Death was the best because I believed it had potential especially with what I had planned. It was sad that I had to stop it, but it was because my world and my characters were wiped out and I couldn't re-create how they looked and what the lots were like they were meant to be. Plus I lost a few cc in that and it didn't help matters.
Daijah: When writing, do you ever do any research?
Leah: If I am writing about something that had happened then Yeah, I do research but when it comes to Vampires, Faeries, Werewolves and Hybrids I make them up to how I want them to be but as you will see that my idea of their mythology is different to each story like in Love me to death, Vampires were supposedly weren't be able to have kids but Mae getting pregnant was meant to be a shock to the Vampire community and I think I was at a point where I thought what If Monique was pregnant as well. In Love Bites and Crave and Eternally in Love, Vampires can have children.
Daijah: Do you first write your stories and then take pictures? Or the other way around?
Leah: I do it the other way around but in the next chapter of Eternally in Love this one is planned. I always find it easier to take pictures then write, probably because I am lazy, ha.
Daijah: Since you are a fantastic writer, I would like to know have there been any stories that you thought of doing but never did?
Leah: Yes, there have been several I had one or two ideas focused on being just between normality but they always ended up featured a vampire. There was an idea that I almost written and it was called The Sunset Valley Diary. It was going to be with the entire Sunset Valley residents and one of the first storyline was Claire Ursine being pregnant by her fiancé’s brother and on whether on telling the father that she is pregnant, Connor, her fiancé, all ready known that she was pregnant with Jared's child and not his. I think I might actually do that, because it was going to be interesting. Um...what's that sound?
Daijah: Come on girl you're hearing things now too?
Leah: It sounds like a child playing an airplane that's sputtering!
Daijah: Uh...nope! I don't hear a thing!
Leah: He's here isn't he?
Daijah: And by "he" are we talking about your little friend?
Leah: Oh please tell me you see him too.
Daijah: Is he sitting beside us Leah? Am I touching him now?
Leah: Well you're just being cynical! I can feel him standing behind me!
Daijah: Um...
Leah: Ok that's it! You're mine! **Jumps up and chases after Leprechaun**
Daijah: Leah be careful! I don't plan on bailing you out of jail for injuring anyone or springing you from the looney bin!
Leah: GET BACK HERE YOU!
Daijah: Well maybe she'll catch him maybe she won't but we'll find out after this break!
Greetings! Seamus O'Shaunessey here to tell you about O'Shaunessey Clover farms. Looking for that elusive four-leaf clover to bring you some luck of the Irish? Well here at O'Shaunessey, we guarantee you'll find that clover every time!
And don't forget to save those old, dried up clovers - there's still plenty of usefulness in those four leaves....
O'Shaunessey's Clover Farms...That's some good sh*t.
Jill: We're back and here at O'Malley Park for their parade event! It looks great so far and I figured it might help burn off some of Leah's energy if she goes marching with us for a bit. From the looks of things Leah didn't catch her Leprechaun fortunately for her.
Leah: And UNFORTUNATELY for me, he's probably plotting to come back for revenge or something because I chased him.
Jill: Is that why you're so jumpy? Stop looking over your shoulder I'm pretty sure we're safe.
Leah: "Pretty sure" is not 100% accuracy! You didn't see the way he laughed when he dodge me! He's plotting I can feel it.
Jill: I see...anyway who got you into Sims?
Leah: My mother. Yes my Mother got me into Sims. She had the first Sims disk for the PlayStation laying about and I decided to play with it (though my Sims kept dying of hunger) and I have been hooked ever since.
Jill: How long have you been a simmer?
Leah: Since 2003. I was 15 at the time, and when I got Sims 1 My Sims kept dying so I got bored with it, in Sims 2 I was doing better but the social worker kept taken away my kids, which to be honest is worrying. In Sims 3 I did better, I kept my children and hardly any of my Sims die. They now only die when I am bored or want them to.
Jill: How long did you play Sims before you starting using it to illustrate stories?
Leah: About 6 years. I worked on Infinite Night with My niece and that was technically my first story I illustrated and then my first solo story was Love me to Death.
Jill: Do you ever play just for kicks anymore?
Leah: I do play for fun in between stories, I do it when I need a break but not one family that I play has ever made it past Generation 1. That is why I probably fail the Rebel Legacy, I get bored easy.
Jill: Smile Leah we're on a float! You're going to scare the children away!
Leah: I'm trying to! Who knows what Leprechauns eat!
Jill: Actually I think they prefer British mothers of twins!
Leah: **Gasps** I'm a British mother of...JILL!
Jill: **bursts into laughter** Sorry but you should really get a look at your face!
Jill: Come on, I think the show float is starting! What is your favorite thing about using Sims? What frustrates you the most about using Sims?
Leah: Well, the thing that frustrates me the most is that the consent crashes and My favorite thing about sims is that sometimes some sims well do something silly. One of my sims started fighting with a random woman in the park, she didn't have with the hot-headed trait or anything she just started attacking this random woman.
Jill: What is your favorite expansion so far? What would you like to see come to The Sims?
Leah: For Sims 3, Late Night. As much as I love Pets, Vampires was something I was hoping that would come to The Sims 3, for Sims 2 it has got to be Apartment life. I am hoping Seasons will come to Sims 3; I loved the winter, autumn, spring and summer in Sims 2. It made it a bit more realistic but not too realistic.
Jill: Do you play any other games besides The Sims?
Leah: I play Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty and Saints Row because I like violent games. I also play Solitaire on my computer but other than that is Sims.
Jill: Do you create your own Sims and sets for your story or do you download everything?
Leah: I created my own Sims but Patrick Gale from Love me to Death and my sets were downloaded.
Jill: What is your favorite world to use? (EA or CC)
Leah: For an EA world it has got to be Bridgeport, only because I haven't explored Appaloosa Plains much. For a CC world it has to Anne Arbor, I don't know why, maybe it looks like part Bridgeport and part Sunset Valley, to me anyway. Not again!
Jill: Is he back then?
Leah: He's sitting on that stack of pancakes! Right smack in the middle of the sticky syrup and butter!
Jill: Well I hope he remembered his swimsuit because that's a pretty big mountain of flapjacks. I'd hate to think the poor dear drowned in them!
Leah: This isn't funny! I'm not crazy! He is really there!
Jill: What's he doing? You should maybe tell him those things aren't real so he doesn't hurt his teeth.
Leah: I'm getting to the bottom of this thing Jill! You just wait!
Jill: What? I didn't do anything. Come on Leah be reasonable, you're standing in the middle of a crowded park. Don't you think that if there was a Leprechaun on the stage someone else would have seen it too?
Leah: Well...maybe you're all in on it!
Jill: Right because that kind of thing is easy to pull off?
Leah: Whatever! I'm on to you! I'll get you rebels and your little friend too!
Jill: Everyone loves a parade, but there are 3 reasons the wee folk don't attend.
1) We end up as green goo on the horses’ hooves.
2) Everyone spills green beer (or worse) on our heads. (That's why we wear the big hats!)
And most importantly:
3) Sadly, we all know exactly what the pipers wear under their kilts. You can't unsee that.
Karima: Welcome back again everyone and the McCarthy Memorial Park named for Cormac McCarthy, the builder for the famous Blarney Castle that today houses the stone Leah and Quiana visited earlier.
Leah: Yeah a lot of good that did! The Leprechaun wasn't convinced by anything I said! It's just a myth!
Karima: Well Cormac McCarthy lived in the castle at the time he was avoiding submission to Queen Elizabeth's rule. He did so by writing evasive answers to her letters demanding he submit. Thus began the legend of "kissing the Blarney Stone". People began believing that doing so would endow a person with the gift of evasive and eloquent speech.
Leah: They should add a Leprechaun Clause to it just the same.
Karima: **Giggles and points** I convinced her to stop the hunt and come look for the rainbows instead since she seems to be hunting a Leprechaun, easiest way is following the rainbow until it ends right? She's hoping it'll work for her.
Karima: Do you ever pretend to be a Sim just for kicks and giggles?
Leah: No, I don't think so.
Karima: No? But you hunt Leprechauns in your spare time? How long have you known Scary Pigeon, and what do you know of her plans to train her offspring in mortal combat so they can take over the world?
Leah: I have known Scary Pigeon for at least 8 months. I have known her plans to take over the world and my daughters will stop them.
Karima: Keep your eyes peeled Leah, I wouldn't want you to miss one.
Leah: Thank you, I really appreciate this Karima. Everyone else thinks I'm just crazy.
Karima: Well...yeah. I love seeing your contributions to the Chain Fiction. Which do you enjoy more - playing off other writers that way, or writing the whole story on your own?
Leah: I enjoy playing off other writers but I also enjoy seeing of what other writers think of how my writing is aiming for.
Karima: What is your favorite Genre to READ?
Leah: I like all sorts, Horror, Romance, Sci-Fi, etc. Whatever interests me I suppose.
Karima: What is your favorite Genre to WRITE?
Leah: Romance/Supernatural. I love Romance mixed with some Supernatural nature. As my stories have already indicated I love anything with vampires and forbidden romance.
Karima: Is there a genre that you would like to try but haven't?
Leah: Horror or Mystery. I am planning for a mystery story I just haven't got a clue how to get it started.
Karima: When you find yourself at a loss for words, what do you do to get your brain pumping again?
Leah: I don't know. I usually wait until I can find my words again.
Karima: How do you keep going with so many stories? Do you ever get bored of it?
Leah: I have gotten bored of a couple of my stories but I have to continuing because I think boredom is not a good enough excuse to stop.
Karima: What do you like to do for fun?
Leah: I go shopping or the movies with my friends. I do that less now since I had my girls but I find a small ounce of time to enjoy life. I guess I am lucky that my girls aren't fussy. KARIMA I SEE ONE!
Karima: One what? Another Leprechaun?
Leah: No! A rainbow! You see it right?
Karima: **Glances behind her** Oh yeah! That's beautiful!
Leah: GOOD! At least I'm not totally insane. AAAHHH!! He's back! He really does come with the rainbows!
Karima: Well...grab him!
Leah: Help me!
Karima: I would if I saw what you were seeing but...looks like you're on your own Leah.
Leah: You don't see that? He's like literally right in front of you creeping towards me!
Karima: Sorry afraid I don't. Hey you gave Quiana your beer mug right?
Leah: YOU'RE MINE BUGGER!
Karima: Well at least the rainbow worked right?
Hey folks! Hiney here! I'm here to let you in on a few secrets about guys just in time for a St. Patty's day pub crawl! With these tips from Cosmopolitan Magazine, you can tell a lot about a man by how he holds his beer...
For example:
If he grips his long-neck loosely...
Lightly encircling the top of his beer bottle with his thumb and index finger reveals that he's confident. Not only does the relaxed gesture indicate he feels in control of the situation, but it's also a bit of cocky posturing — it gives off the vibe that he's too cool to be concerned with the risk of dropping his beer.
If he puts his bottle by his chest...
That beverage is like a wall he's putting up. If you notice he's holding it in front of his body, he's feeling too guarded for you to ask him a ton of questions or bring up a serious conversation. Stick to superficial topics — movies, sports, etc. — until he lowers his drink and loosens up.
If he pushes the drink near you...
Your guy will do this over dinner or at a bar when he's feeling the urge to bond. Men subconsciously put their stuff in your space when they're trying to get closer to you.
If he plays with the bottle's label...
A man who's nervous will unknowingly fidget. If you notice this with a new guy, he may be afraid you're not into him. Touch his arm to signal he has a shot. If this occurs with your BF, pay attention to what was just said — it may have made him anxious. He also could be worried about something he hasn't brought up yet. Get him talking by saying, "It seems like something's on your mind..."
And don't forget, not only will his beer goggles make you look prettier; drinking all that Green Beer will give him incredible beer muscles!
So remember, drink often and drink responsibly! (And a walk of shame is always better than a rude awakening!)
Quiana: Hey everyone welcome back and thank you for joining us as we wrap things up here at the Seamus O'Reilly Pub and Grill. So Leah describe your perfect day.
Leah: My Perfect day? Hmmm, my fiancé catering to my every whim and my daughters behaving, like not trying to eat the wires or attacking the cat and eat chocolate cake.
Jazen: I'm with you on the behaving kids and cake thing.
Daijah: I'll just take the cake!
Karima: As long as you remember to share some with the rest of us Rebels.
Jill: It wouldn't be a party without us!
Daijah: Oh of course! Leah in your opinion, what makes up a great story?
Leah: Mystery, Suspense and hot men.
Daijah: Hear, hear! I'll second that! I think that if I ever made an ugly bad guy I'd lose interest in the story completely.
Karima: Yeah because that's not silly or deranged or anything.
Daijah: Compared to tracking imaginary fictional characters down all day? I'll take my deranged!
Quiana: I agree though. Hot men know how to keep my interest too!
All: **Laugh**
Jazen: Do you ever mix your real life experiences with your stories?
Leah: Yes I have, actually. In Love Me to Death, Mae's insecurities come from my personal experience. My fiancé help get through that like Jason was going to.
Jazen: Do you ever put yourself in the characters shoes?
Leah: If a character is in a situation I put myself in their shoes and think of what I would do in that position.
Jill: That sounds like a helpful technique. It would certainly give you a psychological outlook on how to approach their behavior.
Jill: Do you have a personal connection to any specific characters?
Leah: I feel I have a personal connection with Isabelle Columbine from Love Bites, it sorta like a mother feeling/connection kinda thing though.
Karima: Knowing life is busy with twins, which story are you most anxious to get back to writing?
Leah: Love Bites. I miss writing that; nasty shock though was when I entered my game the save was gone. Lucky though, I saved my buildings and my family save is still there. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for Love Me to Death.
Quiana: If you could be any person, real or fictional, for one week who would it be and why?
Leah: I don't know who I would be but if I had to I guess I would be Princess Leia. Yes, Nerd Alert is coming. It would be cool to live like her, you know fighting the Sith and kissing Han Solo.
Quiana: If you were a superhero what would your powers be? Have you ever thought about writing a superhero story?
Leah: My Superhero power would be Invisibility. No, but that has given me food for thought. Maybe sometime in the near future.
Daijah: Should Leah be drinking after everything that's happened to her today?
Jill: Actually I think she needs a drink now more than ever.
Jazen: All I know is that this DJ is bumping and the club is jumping! Who's this playing?
Quiana: Some local r...
Leah: OH MY GOSH THERE HE IS!
Karima: You know the DJ?
Leah: Not the DJ HIM! He's sitting on the booth! Right there don't you see him?
Jazen: **Tastes the potency of Leah's drink** I'm having Bailey's too and I know it's not that strong!
Leah: This time he's mine! **Jumps up and rushes the booth** Get over here! HA! LOOK! I caught him! I caught him!
Daijah, Quiana, Jill, Karima, Jazen: **Bursts into laughter**
Jill: Well look at that! You finally nailed him Leah! Way to go!
Karima: Yeah...I thought we paid him enough to keep her busy the rest of the night and NOT get caught!
Quiana: But it was all worth it to see that look on her face!
Jazen: Priceless absolutely priceless!
**Laughter continues**
Leah: Wait? What? You...paid him?
Karima: Yeah a huge fee too in order to get him to chase you all over these rolling hills!
Leah: So you saw him this whole time? You knew I wasn't crazy but made me think otherwise all day?
Daijah: Wasn't it fun?
Leah: NO! NO it wasn't! I was seriously thinking I was going out of my head!
Quiana: Well you kinda were already there. It was just fun watching you chase after him!
Lucky: Well you've caught me now you must kiss me!
Leah: Kiss you?
Lucky: I'm Irish! It's tradition!
Daijah: No I don't think you should do that Leah.
Leah: This is all part of your plan isn't it?
Jill: No, our fee stopped at the memorial park. He isn't even supposed to be here!
Leah: Yeah just like you didn't even seen him all day! I think I'll take my chances **leans over and kisses Lucky on the forehead**
Leah: I think maybe that was a bad idea!
Lucky: Thank you my dear you've broken the seal,
And made me once again real.
I would like to thank you
And perhaps in a few
These gifts will complete the deal!
Lucky: Your friends had their fun,
But now the work is done
We've reached the end I'm afraid
Your terror in folds is repaid
So never you fear
Your gifts are still here
Indeed a fun ride,
Now let's see what's inside!
Daijah: Thank you again for joining us Rebels!
Jill: We hope you've enjoyed this trip through Leah's psyche!
Jazen: Yeah hope it wasn't too crazy!
Quiana: We will see you again next month!
Karima: And who knows? Next month it might be you!
