December 2011: 11Daisies
“Oh the weather outside is frightful!”
Welcome to Nirvana and the December edition of the Hot Seat and our Featured Rebel special!
Karima: Rebel Writer’s Nirvana, to be exact!
Qui: As you can see, we went all out this month with a Christmas theme for our Featured Author interview!
Daijah: We sure did, and along with our Featured Author, we’ll be visited by another special guest in this segment!
Jilly: We’re planning lots of traditional Christmas fun this month!
Jazen: So let’s get the party started! Introducing December’s Featured Author and another of Santa's Little Helpers...
“11 Daisies!”
Daisies: Thanks, Guys! It’s so great to be here!
Jilly: Hey Daisies, I know it was a long flight, did you want to use the restroom before we get started?
Daijah: You might want to take her up on that offer as well...there are a few "surprises" planned and no one will want to leave their seats!
Daisies: Funny, Jill! I'm not doing the potty dance, I'm trying to get warm! You know, when you guys sent this outfit, you didn't include a coat, and it's REALLY cold out there!
Daijah: Qui - you didn't send a coat?
Qui: I thought you said she didn't need one, because the jet was heated?
Karima: Didn't DJ tell you the heater on the jet was broken?
Daijah: *whistles
Jazen: Why don’t you have a seat by the fire and get warmed up, Daisies. We want you nice and comfy when you see who else is here today!
Daijah: Yes! Something that will definitely get everyone's blood boiling for sure. In speaking of which I think I hear some sleighbells out there!
Daisies: Sleighbells?
Jilly: *please be Santa – please be Santa….
Karima: Jilly, please don’t tell me you still believe in Santa Claus?
Jilly: What do you mean ‘still?’ What are you trying to say, Karima?
Qui: *points finger angrily at Karima…Oh, Karima’s just being silly, She knows that Santa is real.
Jilly: She better, or she’s going on the Naughty list!
Qui: That’s right, Jilly. You’re on the Nice list, aren’t you, our special girl?
Jilly: Santa says I’m special.
Daisies: I think you're quite special Jill! Hear that, Santa? I'm being nice!
Karima: She's special alright...in the head.
Daijah: Checking out what everyone is wearing I doubt ANY of us are on the nice list this year.
Jill: You selected these costumes DJ! That should land you there but not the rest of us.
Daijah: Fine, wait until later and then we'll see how true those words are!
Jazen: What exactly does that mean?
Daijah: That I'm not the only one that's been naughty this year and remember Christmas is still a week away so anything can happen between now and then!
Santa: Note to self…Karima goes on Naughty List...extra sized lump of coal.
Jilly: SANTA!!! It’s Santa!
Santa: Ho, ho ho! Merry Christmas, Rebels! And you, Daisies – Featured Rebel? Come here – bring it in for the real thing…
Karima: (*He IS real!) That thing I said about not being real, I was talking about the one on the Charlie Brown Christmas Special of course! I believe in Santa!
Santa: It's never too late to believe; but it's too late to be removed from the naughty list I'm afraid.
Jilly: Santa! I knew you'd come!
Santa: Of course - I couldn't miss Daisies interview! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us. And of course every Christmas must have the annual tree trimming and decoration!
Jilly: Very right Santa! And I made sure to get lots of cherry candy canes for us, cuz I know they’re your favorites!
Santa: Oh thank you, Jilly! That’s why you’re my special girl!
Jilly to Karima: I’m his special girl.
Daisies: You guys really go all out for Christmas here! All the decorations you bought, to be honest I had no idea where we would put them on this thing and there's still more ornaments in this box! You guys really went above and beyond for this interview! I love it!
Santa: Ho ho ho! Daisies, with your help the tree looks even better! Now, while I know when you’ve been sleeping, and when you’re awake, when you’ve been naughty (*glares at Karima)…or nice (*smiles at Jilly)…, some of our viewers may be curious about you. How long have you been writing sim stories?
Daisies: I started reading Sims 3 stories in April of this year, and then I started writing them.
Santa: Do you mind telling them if you have hobbies other than writing and simming?
Daisies: Reading of course! And thanks for those books you brought me last year, Santa – they were great! I also love to crochet. Although I'm not an outdoors person, I love going to the beach and walking in parks. At my age it’s funny, but I still love zoos and aquariums. My husband does, too.
Jill: There! I think that's the last ornament! How does it look?
Daisies: It's gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful!
Vincent: I couldn't have said it any better myself.
Jill: VINNY!
Santa: That's someone who is definitely on the Naughty list!
Karima: And he still gets a gift with a big red box while I get a lump of coal?
Santa: Make that two lumps!
Jill: What are you doing here?
Vincent: When the boss lady calls I listen. Trust me, she can get pretty scary if we don't.
Daijah: I heard that!
Vincent: Besides I'd never give up the opportunity to see my Jillybean especially on an occasion like this.
Daisies: This is INCREDIBLE! I can't believe you're actually here!
Vincent: And it is an honor to meet you Daisies! Congratulations on your Feature!
Daisies: Thank you!
Vincent: Daisies...Daisies...why does that sound familiar to me?
Daisies: **Gulps** Um, I don't know actually uh. Peep..people call me that though uh my name is Nedra, Neddy for short.
Vincent: No I have a pretty decent memory. It's not a very common name. Oh well I'm sure it'll come to me.
Daisies: So, Vincent can I ask you something?
Vincent: Of course, I'm here to please!
Daisies: Do you think that you will ever be able to get over Zoe and get closer to Jill?
Vincent: Wow...you get right to the point don't you? Well that's a little complicated to say the least. Jill's a great person and I've grown very fond of her; very fond. **smiles**
Santa: Ahem!
Vincent: I never intended for things to develop as they have between Zo and I. She opened my eyes to what the word love meant and she was the first ever that I allowed my heart to feel for. I know things would never be as I want with her and I know she wants me to be happy. She even suggested being happy with Jill. So I've been trying; it's not as easy as you'd think. Jill is a mysterious person and I haven't gotten to the heart of her secrets yet but I'm sure once she trusts me enough we can develop something. I'd like that very much.
Jill: **blushes** Uh...we uh...commercial!
Today's entire show was brought to you today by Goth Industries. Goth. The name you associate with the Christmas Holiday!
- ***pssst! Jilly! Don't you associate the name 'Goth' with Halloween?

Karima: Welcome back! Now that our tree is up and looking so nice we have to put our fantastic presents under it but we have a bit of wrapping to do so I hope you have quick hands Daisies!
Daisies: This is one of my favorite parts well next to shopping for the perfect gift!
Santa: That sounds like lots of fun! Well, the team is a little hungry after our trip in from the Pole, so while I step out back with some carrots, why don’t you take over, Karima?
Karima: Thanks, uh…Santa. It’s so great to see you…and I was only kidding about you before…really!
Santa: Talk to the hand, Karima. And about that hunky croc hunter I left under your tree back in OZ, since I’m not “real”, I guess I can just return him back to the outback.
Karima: But!!
**Door closes**
Daisies: Don’t worry, Karima. Santa’s a good guy. He’ll come around – you’ll see! Now pass me the tape and let's get to work!
Karima: Thanks, Daisies I hope you’re right about Santa!! For now, let’s get back to you…How do you find time to write so many stories?
Daisies: Right now, I'm not working outside the home, and I don't have any children. Most of the time, my husband doesn't mind the time I spend on the computer. So, I'm very fortunate.
Karima: That is fortunate! I’m curious to know what inspires you such as books or movies or other sims stories?
Daisies: I have had inspiration from all the books I've read over the years. I love movies with suspense. I also love science fiction movies and books. I watch all the crime shows, real and fiction. Of course, I love sims stories too. I think I've become hooked on them!
Karima: That’s sure easy to do! How do you change that inspiration into a story idea?
Daisies: I don't really have a special way of coming up with an idea. Sometimes it’s from a dream. That's what happened with The Savage Hunt. Deceived came from a commercial on television.
For Alissa, I thought of what might be interesting to readers on the Sims 3 Forum. Love Endures just suddenly came to me. The residents on the world of Mesa Valley gave me the idea for Mesa Valley Chronicles.
Daisies: Hey, there’s something here with my name on it!
Karima: OH! Is there one for me from Santa under there?
Daisies: Hold on let me check.
Santa: Ho ho ho! Now, Daisies, you’re supposed to be wrapping gifts, not snooping gifts! If you do a nice interview with the girls, I bet they’ll let you open that before you leave today!
Karima: Santa! You’re back!
Santa: Of course, Karima. I only went out back to feed the reindeer. What – were you afraid I took a trip to a certain townhouse in Australia to remove a certain package from beneath a certain tree?
Karima: No! I didn’t think that for a minute! *wipes brow
Santa: Because everyone knows I have elves for that.
Karima:
Santa: And as always they are reliable and if my ears are not deceiving me...
Logan: Knock, knock?
Karima: LOGAN!! **looks at Santa** For me?
Logan: Merry Christmas Karima.
Karima: Now it is! This is a very wonderful gift Santa! Thank you!
Santa: You just remember he's only here for a few hours and I am still watching!
Daisies: Logan it's so great to meet you!
Logan: And you as well Daisies! I'm happy to see you're the featured author this month how does it feel?
Daisies: It's a tremendous honor!
Logan: And one well deserved!
Daisies: It's funny you should happen by, there was something I wanted to ask.
Logan: I'm all ears!
Daisies: Was it hard to accept the fact that a child can be as evil as Landon?
Logan: Landon. That was a huge shock to me. It was a very hard pill to swallow. When I was attacked at my office and left to die in that file room I could have sworn my attacker was someone I'd defended or a case I'd lost and they were seeking revenge. Learning it was a child, a child, I couldn't come up with words to describe my emotions. Worst of all Hazel was stuck in that house with them and wouldn't listen to me about how dangerous those children are. I just hope I can get her off before she's forced to spend the rest of her life behind bars for crimes she didn't commit! That is if it's in the cards for her. **whispers** Who knows what the Boss has planned?
Karima: And that's why you're my favorite! You're compassionate and smart and hot on top of that it's like a total package **stares at pants**
Santa: Whistling ~He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake~
Karima: Ahem, excuse me! My eyes were just taking in the sights.
**Knock on Door**
Daisies: More elves at work Santa?
Santa: Let's hope so. Why don't you get that while I keep an eye on these two?
Victor: Did someone call the cops?
Daisies: **gasps** Oh my gosh!
Victor: Haha and my guess is it was you?
Daisies: YES! It was me! Arrest me! I've been a bad, bad girl!
Karima: NEDRA! Anything you want to say about that Santa?
Santa: About what?
Karima: Oh right! I get on the naughty list for roaming eyes but Nedra...
Daisies: Victor! It’s Victor!
Victor: Correction it’s one of your Christmas presents. And these are for you.
Daisies: I can't believe it! Thank you! They are so beautiful!
Victor: They're not the only thing.
Daisies: You shouldn't...
Victor: Speak the truth? A man cannot help but notice these things. I'm not sorry for making you blush. In fact **pulls her into his arms** I'm gonna see just how red I can make those cheeks!
Daisies: This is incredible! Too unreal! I don't know what to say.
Victor: Say? We're standing under the mistletoe! Your lips have only one thing they should be doing right now!
Karima: And you're not going to say anything about that Santa?
Santa: About what? I didn't see a thing!
Karima: SANTA!
Santa: You're striving for 2012's Naughty List too Karima?
Daisies: Wow! That was so much better than I could have dreamed.
Victor: I couldn't agree more. Congratulations on your Feature Neddy!
Daisies: Thank you! And while we're on the subject, since it is my month and all, I'd like to ask you something.
Victor: **Takes her hand and leads her to the tree** Let's hear it!
Daisies: Don’t you think that it would be a mistake to get involved with your wife's twin because she is not an equal replacement?
Victor: Well I honestly am not trying to replace my wife. I don't think it's possible to do that. She's the mother of my children and a woman I've spent over a decade loving and falling in love with over and over again. Sierra and I fooled around, something I have had regrets about since it happened. But I also can't deny that I care about her. She's not Simone and could never come close. She's just a friend in desperate times and she helped me through a rough patch.
Daisies: Do you enjoy working in law enforcement?
Victor: It's the best feeling in the world taking down bad guys and making the world a better place for people like you. There's no rush like it. Well...other than the way you greeted me at the door.
Daisies: **blushes**I hope you don't have to rush off! I'd love to pick your brain some more!
Victor: I have nothing but time for you.
Karima: **clears throat** And we have an interview to conduct here, Daisies.
Daisies: **stares longingly into Vic's eyes** They are so blue; so beautiful.
Victor: Why don't you have a closer look. **devilish smile**
Karima: Ok so I think we've lost Daisies. So now's as good a time as any for a short commercial break we'll be right back after a brief word from our sponsors and I'll try and pry these two apart!
Stop by Goth's Mad Hattery for that perfect Holiday look!
Dread going to those office Christmas parties because you just can't come up with smooth line? Tired of being the only one not getting any action?
Then my friend, you need the Mistletoe Dangler from Goth's Mad Hattery!
People will suddenly feel compelled plant a big wet kiss on you the minute you walk into the party! It will almost seem like they can't help themselves...because they CAN'T! The mesmerizing swinging action of the Mistletoe Dangler draws them in, and won't let them go until you're all kissed out!
Goth's Mad Hattery...You'll feel like a new person when you leave. (and you may very well be...)
Santa: Say, Daisies, why don’t you tell them about the sims you make. You could maybe even try and recreate them on some nice Holiday cards to give to all your friends.
Jazen: Great idea, Santa! Dais, you should be great at this, because your sims are so beautiful. How do you go about making such gorgeous characters?
Daisies: Thank you! I fuss with them in CAS. I probably spend too much time in there. Twallan's Master Controller is wonderful - I used it before the new cheat.
Sometimes I also get Sims from the Sims 3 website and change them in CAS. I've recently started to make my own and it takes a while to get them right. I'm still trying. Burr...It's a bit chilly in here.
Santa: You're cold? Let me see what I can do about that.
Jazen: Well you’ve got it down to me! Do you ever upload the beautiful sims you make?
Daisies: Thank you for calling them beautiful. I haven't uploaded them before. If someone would like to have them, I'd be glad to.
Jazen: You hear that, viewers? Your wish is her command! Ho Ho Ho!
Santa: Hey! That’s my line!
Jazen: Sorry, Santa! Just all caught up in the Christmas spirit! So, Daisies, do you ever become so attached to a sim that you use them in more than one story?
Daisies: Yes! I used Syzu in three stories. I used two male sims in two stories. I'm trying to start using other sims now! For anyone who doesn't know, Alissa is played by Syzu, created by ALICJA560 . She is my favorite female sim. www.thesims3.com/mypage/ALICJA560
Jazen: Do you make your homes and community lots spur of the moment - long before you use them, or while writing the chapter to suit what you need?
Daisies: It was a spur of the moment thing in the beginning, but now I save some lots and redecorate them as needed for each story. I'm having to rebuild some now, because of reinstalling my game and Pets.
Jazen: Pets...yeah that was a headache for everyone! So, I think we have more than enough cards to send out. What do you think?
Dustin: I think you missed one!
Jazen: DUSTIN!
Daisies: Boy Daijah wasn't kidding when she said this day was full of surprises!
Dustin: Wow you look good enough to unwrap!
Jazen: Dustin!
Dustin: Sorry it's true though.
Daisies: You two are so cute together! Aren't you glad that you looked up from the computer screen long enough to really see Mica?
Dustin: Best blind date I've ever had. I keep forgetting to thank Soo for this. I'm sure she knows by the fact that I haven't been online in almost...uh let's see 36 hours?
Daisies: That's it?
Dustin: It? Do you have any idea how crazy it is for me to be away from something with a motherboard and keys for 5 minutes? But then again I have a junkie itch for something much more addicting.
Jazen: Mmm and before I get suckered in and end up on the naughty list with Karima I think we should take a break. What do you say Daisies?
Daisies: A break? Does this break involve cookies? Because I'm pretty sure I can smell cookies...
Qui: You sure do! How are you doing in there, Daisies? Are you warming up any?
Daisies: Thanks, Qui. I’m getting there.
Qui: How about you come on in the kitchen by this nice, warm stove and help me make some more Christmas cookies?
Daisies: Cookies? Now you’re talking!
Jazen: We'll be right back after this brief commercial break!
At Goth's Industrial Magic Shop, we're pulling out all the stops, isn't that right, Santa?
*I really don't know about this...
What I know is that the bills are being paid this month by Goth Industries, and this year, they're pulling out all the stops! (*just go with it, Santa! You don't want to upset the Goths, do you?)
Oh! THAT Goth Industries! Continue...
This year, exclusively from Goth Indutrial Magic is the Goth Magic Wand! Tired of those neighbors coming over uninvited, singing Christmas carrols at all hours?
Perfectly safe for any aspiring witch or wizard on your Christmas list! The Wand comes complete with a spell book and a list that will generate a viable alibi, should you need one.
Goth Industrial Magic. Eliminating annoying neighbors one spell at a time!
Qui: Welcome back to the Hot Seat and December's Featured Rebel: Daisies! We're here in the Nirvana kitchen preparing to bake up some delicious holiday sweets! Is there a particular kind of cookie or baked good you love around this time Daisies?
Daisies: I love chocolate chip cookies but anything potentially fattening and or chocolaty I cannot resist!
Qui: Well said! And I do believe we have the ingredients for some homemade chocolate chip cookies!
Daisies: You just said the magic words!
Santa: I'll have mine sugar free please. With all the special treats left out for me around this time I fear I may become diabetic soon!
Daisies: One batch of sugar-free Chocochip cookies coming up!
Qui: Do you do a lot of research on the backgrounds of your stories?
Daisies: Most of the time, I like doing research for the stories. Sometimes, I may not exactly stick with what the research reveals, but I usually try to up to a certain point. I change it, if I like my way better.
For example, Aragon and Audra's wedding in The Savage Hunt. Weddings back then were too emotionless to me. So I changed their wedding to suit my taste and what hoped everyone who read it would enjoy more.
In my story, Alissa, she was recently raped. I've tried to stick with my research on a rape victim's reaction, and the reactions of her husband and family. However, I had to dramatize it to stick with the personality of the character.
Qui: And those scenes were very powerful. A reader can tell that you put a lot of attention into what you write. On a lighter note, It’s also easy to see that you love to decorate with authentic things to represent that story, whether period or modern. Where in the world did you find all the Medieval CC you used in The Savage Hunt?
Daisies: That was Karima! She found the sites for me, and I really appreciate her help! I've always been interested in how people lived during different periods of history; especially how they lived day to day.
Qui: Mmm that's so good. And all your hard work shows, believe me! Was it a lot of work to search out the right cc for that period, and would it detract you from writing another period piece in the future?
Daisies: With the internet, it wasn't really a lot of work to research.
I already have another period story in mind. This time, it will be set in the Victorian period. I won't start that story until I finish one of my others!
Qui: We can't wait! I know the characters will steal our hearts! How did you come up with the title for your story?
Daisies: It came from the first person that kidnapped Audra, The Duke. He'd hunted her in her dreams since she was a child.
Qui: Speaking of characters...a lot of your characters - like Alissa - endure a lot of hardships thrown at them. Life keeps pounding them and yet the character remains strong, or as strong as they can. Do you see yourself in these sims as being that strong, or like many of us (like me) that only wish we were that strong?
Daisies: I'm more like you. I would like to see myself as being that strong. Of course, I try, but I don't always succeed in the way the characters do.
Qui: I don't think anyone does all the time. Alright let's pop these in the oven. I can't wait to taste your hard work! In the meantime, have a nice glass of wine and try and unwind a bit.
Daisies: Done and done! It IS nice and warm in here. I love these costumes but they are so short!
Santa: They were made special by my elves for you.
Daisies: And I love them! Doesn't it get cold to you in the North Pole?
Santa: I guess I've just grown used to it!
Qui: You always seem to be able to have your hero and heroine connect on a deep, personal level. Do you have to work hard to come up with things they have in common and/or admire about each other?
Daisies: I am a romantic, so that part of the story is usually one of the easiest. Sometimes, it is hard to find the right words to express how I want them to feel, but I keep trying to get better at it. Plus, it helps having a great husband of my own!
Qui: I can see where that would help! On the same note, your villans are absolutely detestable! You have your readers actively hating these people - that has to make you feel like you've accomplished your goal. Does writing a villain come easily?
**Ding!**
Daisies: Cookies! It's not always easy! I'm glad when readers dislike them as much as I do. I try to think of behavior that I can't stand and then try to make the villain behave in that way! What surprises me, though, is that I sometimes start to feel sorry for the villain when it's time for him to receive justice for his behavior. I know that's strange!
Connor: But perfectly understandable. That's the romantic in you and the "Momma protecting her cub" mentality. You created these characters it's like losing a limb or your own child.
Daisies: CONNOR!
Connor: Hey Daisies! Congratulations! And hello to you too!
Qui: Wow! This is the best Christmas present ever!
Connor: I know a thing or two about limb loss. I once shredded a...
Santa: **Clears throat**
Connor: Hey Santa! I didn't see you there!
Santa: I'm everywhere!
Daisies: So Connor when are you going to select a mate and quit playing the field?
Connor: Yeah you are a wolf! Right to the throat huh? Well I'm not a romantic. I've always felt that if two people were meant to be together then they would but happy endings don't happen to everyone. But I'm sure there's a girl out there for me, who knows she might be right in this very room.
Qui: **Giggles** Is she wearing a skimpy Santa's Little Helper dress?
Connor: For now.
Santa: AHEM!
Connor: I think I should get out of here before I'm pelted with reindeer bondi cigars.
Daisies: With what?
Santa: Droppings my Dear. And that's not a bad idea!
Connor: I hang around Bane too much...starting to talk like him too! You ladies enjoy your evening!
Santa: And these cookies!
Daisies: Santa! Those are hot - be careful!
Santa: Mmm nice and chewy!
Qui: Santa, maybe you should slow down on those cookies...that's already your 4th.
Santa: They are too delicious! Great job on these girls! Though, they taste a bit sweet.
Daisies: OH NO! Those aren't the sugar free ones Santa!!
Santa: **Cough**
Qui: WE KILLED SANTA!
Santa: Oh no, I'm fine. I know that wasn't on purpose. But if it was...let's just say my reindeer have an excellent track record. **whistles Grandma got runover by a reindeer**
Daijah: Hey! You guys are supposed to be bringing some of those cookies in here to eat while we watch "It's a Wonderful Life!" If I don't get some cookies in here, life will NOT be wonderful!
Daisies: Coming right in, DJ! Um...how about some popcorn instead? That goes better with movies - I'll just pop some right up and bring it in!
Qui: Stick around! There's more after this commercial break!
Hey friends! Tired of that snotty woman from down the street always taking first place in the Christmas Egg Nog Contest? The Fine Folks at Goth Kitchen LTD. have just what you need...
The Egg Nog Cauldron!
While it's true that most egg nog is yellow and creamy, the egg nog that you'll whip up in this will literally take their breath away! Literally!
Goth Kitchen LTD. The proof is in the pudding! (so make sure to dispose of it quickly!)
Daijah: You're right - popcorn was a better idea! I love the characters in this movie...especially Clarence - he's supposed to be an angel, but he's so evil! Definitely a great story! Speaking of stories, do you have your story all thought out ahead of time, or do you start with an idea and let the story take you in different directions?
Daisies: I had The Savage Hunt planned out ahead of time, but the others started out with an idea. **looks at door**
Santa: Do you ever base characters on real people or on characters you've seen or read? Because I'd hate to have to put you on the Naughty list!
Daisies: Well...sometimes I have. At times, I've done it and didn't realize it until later. That doesn't count, right?
Santa: Nope! Still nice! Are there any of those cookies left?
Daijah: Um, pretty sure you ate them all! Maybe Karima would like to make you some more?
Karima: I'm on it, Santa!
Daijah: You know you have plenty of time to milk this thing with her, right?
Santa: Oh, I know. I know.
Daijah: Do you write first and then take pictures or pictures first and get your inspiration from them?
Daisies: I write chapters first and then take the pictures. **looks at door**
Daijah: What about multiple stories - Is it difficult for you to write more than one at a time, and why?
Daisies: I'm writing 3 right now. It isn't easy. Sometimes, I'm more interested in one story more so than the others. Then I have to force myself to update the others. I go through phases with each one. Because of that, I had decided to make each story only about twenty chapters each. I haven't stuck to that decision though!
Daijah: And we love you for that! Especially with The Savage Hunt! It was so sad to see it go!
Daisies: Aww thank you! It was a grueling ride but they had a happy ending!
Daijah: What is your favorite genre to read?
Daisies: I love mysteries with lots of suspense.
Daijah: I think you would make an excellent mystery writer, because you love to have suspense for your characters. Is that your favorite Genre to write?
Daisies: Thank you! I love all kinds of mystery stories! I don't think that I have the talent or patience to stick with one story long enough to write a book. **looks at door**
Daijah: I don't believe that for a second! Now here's a problem every writer can relate to - do you have any tricks to get yourself in the mood to write when RL makes it hard to do so?
Daisies: Growing up with brothers, I've always had the knack of shutting everything out when I read. Most of the time, I can do that when I write too.
Daijah: That's some serious focus to be able to block out brothers! Do you ever get writer's block, and if so, what do you do to get past it?
Daisies: Yes I do. Sometimes, I switch to writing a different story, or I take a break completely. **looks at door**
Daijah: Ok I have to ask, why do you keep looking at the door?
Daisies: We've had a visit from Santa, Vincent, Logan, Victor, Dustin AND Connor! I guess I was expecting someone else to come bursting in with gifts!
Daijah: **Giggles** Unfortunately those were the only ones I asked...
The Guys: ASKED!?!
Vincent: More like threatened! You said Vanessa would have 30 boyfriends by the time she graduated college! Then you told me if I didn't show you'd hurt me in other unimaginable ways!
Connor: Yeah like taking revenge on my best friend and making my equipment stop working.
Logan: Or allowing Hazel to spend the rest of her life in prison!
Dustin: And downgrading all of my hardware to Windows 2000! What about you Vic? What did she threaten you with?
Victor: I wasn't threatened. I wanted to be here. **Smiles at Daisies** I've had a blast!
Daijah: I'm sure they have as well. Right guys?
The Guys: ABSOLUTELY BOSS LADY!
Daijah: Anyway, we do hope to see more stories from you in the future - we love to be surprised, and your writing is full of them!
Daisies: I hope to continue writing stories because I've found that I really enjoy it. Although, I do love reading everyone else's stories even more than writing my own! That's what's so great about RWN - you get to do both!
Thanks so much for this great interview! I think everyone feels like they know you so much better now!
Daisies: I told you that I can talk your ear off!
The Girls: IT'S SNOWING! IT'S SNOWING! COME QUICK!!!
Daijah: Well looks like there is still more to come! Stay tuned!
Every little girl wants a dolly for Christmas, and this year, Ye Olde Gothique Toy Shoppe has the must-have doll, Malleable Mimic!
Malley seems plain at first glance, but that makes it easier to imagine her just the way you want her!
Does little Suzie want a dolly that reminds her of that bully Sarah from her gym class? Just snip a piece of Sarah's hair, add it to Malley, and she'll have that bully wrapped around her little finger in no time!
Ye Olde Gothique Toy Shoppe...They just don't make 'em like they used to!
Daisies: It's so gorgeous out here!
Daijah: Yes and VERY cold!
Daisies: Something I've always wanted to try was to catch snowflakes on my tongue. I've never tried
Daijah: Ha! That reminds me of the Charlie Brown Christmas Special.
Daisies: I LOVE that cartoon!
Qui: Hey Jill! **throws snowball** WHAM! Right in the kisser!
Jill: That was a good one but trust me I have an arm too! **prepares snowball** This is war!
Daisies: Just make sure those things hit their target!
Qui: Afraid of a little ice, Flowers? **evil smile**
Daisies: QUI!
Qui: JILL!
Jill: I warned you! Better watch yourself!
Santa: I saw that Karima!
Karima: Just good old fashioned fun Santa!
Santa: Alright! Here's one special from the North Pole!
Karima: HAHA! Missed me Santa!
Santa: Did I?
**Elven laughter**
Karima: **pelted from behind by Elves** HEY! That's cheating!
Santa: Is it?
Jazen: You raged the war with him Karima! You had to expect the elves would join in too!
Santa: Beautiful job you're doing Mica!
Jazen: Thank you! My hands are freezing though!
Daisies: So are mine! I think I've caught enough snowflakes for now!
Qui: There's something that can take your mind off of your freezing hand you know?
Daisies: What's that?
ALL: GET HER!
Daisies: HEY!
Santa: That was fun Ladies and I think before I head back to I'd like to take you caroling!
Jazen: That sounds great!
Daijah: Yeah if you have a nice voice and not nails on a chalkboard.
Santa: Go on ahead and get ready and I'll bring the sleigh around.
Daisies: SLEIGH? We're going on a sleigh ride?! **Jumps happily**
Jazen: And we'll be back after this brief word from Santa!
Karima: And Daisies Featured banner!
Hi Kiddies! Santa here. Not to take away from Goth Industries, but since it IS Christmas, and I AM Santa, I thought we should at least advertise one item made strictly at the North Pole.
I present to you...The Santa Gnome!
Having a hard time keeping mischievous gnomes in line all year long? Well no more! The Santa Gnome keeps track of Naughty and Nice Gnomes, and reports directly to Santa!
The Santa Gnome. Bring some Holiday Cheer to your home and Garden!
*Stupid Santa Gnome. How does it know the Goldfish didn't WANT to glow in the dark, Hmmm?
*Sacre Bleu! I only wanted a little wine! I would've put it back!
Santa: You Ladies look very lovely. Are we ready?
Daijah: We sure are Santa. Hey What do you call a reindeer wearing ear muffs? Anything you want because he can't hear you!
Qui: What did the Turkey say to the reindeer? I'm just saying watch your back. I was a holiday icon too and look how that turned out!
Jill: Wait we're not flying like this are we?
Daisies: You know another way for the reindeer to move?
Jill: They have legs! They can run!
Santa: Ho ho ho no their legs aren't made for running my dear. Just sit back and try and relax.
Jazen: Look at her face! She's so scared!
Daijah: HAHA Relax Jill I'm sure we'll be fine. Besides if anyone falls first it'll be me or Quiana since we're on the ends!
Qui: Whoa now hold on. Someone switch seats with me! I don't want to go plummeting to the Earth. Karima?
Santa: No she stays where I can keep an eye on her.
Karima: I thought you could see everything Santa?
Santa: **Smiles** This is true but it doesn't mean I intend on allowing you to hide either.
Karima: Sorry I get shotgun you'll have to suffer.
Jazen: I don't know if that's the best place to be though. I mean you're kinda right behind their...tails.
Karima: SANTA!!
Santa: HO HO HO! On Dasher, On Dancer, On Prancer, On Vixen, On Comet, On Cupid, On Donner, On Blitzen!
Daijah: Wait where's Rudolph?
Jazen: He's getting his lightbulb screwed on!
Karima: The night Santa when crazy, the night St. Nick went insane, realized he'd been getting' a raw deal, something finally must have snapped in his brain.
**Door slams**
Santa: Interesting choice of song Karima **scribbles on clipboard permanent Naughty list
Jazen: And now they're pretending like they're not home?
Qui: Maybe we'll have better luck at the next house.
Jill: Maybe not. No one's here either. Santa I don't think this is gonna work out.
Santa: Perhaps we can try the park, make them come to us.
Daijah: Or frighten the poop out of the pigeons!
All: Here comes Santa Claus,
Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus Lane,
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Pullin' on the reins.
Bells are ringin', children singin',
All is merry and bright.
So hang your stockings and say your prayers,
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
Here comes Santa Claus,
Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus Lane,
He's got a bag that's filled with toys
For boys and girls again.
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle,
Oh what a beautiful sight,
So jump in bed, and cover your head,
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
All: Jingle bell jingle bell jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell
Jingle bell
Jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
What a bright time
It's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse
Pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell rock
All: O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
'Til He appeared and the soul felt
Its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and
Glorous morn.
Fall on your knees O hear the
Angels voices.
O night divine O night when Christ as born
O night divine O night divine
O night divine.
Jazen: Thank you for joining us and celebrating Daisies as our Featured Rebel!
